The inverted horse icon symbolizes the reversed spirit of this form of chess.Objective: Lose all your chess pieces first to win the game. Important Rule: If you can kill an opposing piece, you must kill it. Unlike normal chess games, negative chess computes all your moves/kills at each turn, so if you have a mandatory kill it will show you so. The game will not allow you to play an alternate safe move. Think about it this way: The idea of the game is to lose all your pieces, and if both players simply refused to kill any pieces, the game would never end, so it's very important for the game to enforce this rule.The application assumes knowledge of basic chess moves. However, you don't need to be a chess expert to play the game. Negative chess is a more casual version of chess. I've included some visuals of basic moves in any case.I hope you will enjoy this game, I had fun creating it! Please let me know of any improvements/changes you would like to see. I will do my best to incorporate them as I continue to work the AI's speed and strength, and look to add online play.
